camera.app software package provides GNUstep application for digital still cameras, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install camera.app
camera.app is installed in your system.
Make ensure the camera.app package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep camera.app *
You will get with camera.app package name, version, architecture and description in a table
